The owner of this residence contacted us for an estimate to replace the two acrylic dome skylights on his home. After a free home evaluation a decision was made to replace the skylights with two VELUX FCM curb mounted fixed skylights.

The plastic domes have degraded significantly. They are yellowed and have a frosted appearance. The benefit of the clear sky view of a glass skylighy is hard to put a value on, but you will love it.
The skylights on the home are a very comon size, about 2-foot by 4-foot. The high volume makes these skylights a paricular value. The fact that the curbs are reusable reduces the replacement costs by at least 40%.
